Hi, I’m Meag

An illustrator and designer from New York, currently residing in the Bay Area of sunny California!

The Studio encompasses the many hats I wear daily: from lettering, illustration, and web design to product production and murals! All of the creative ventures sit under this umbrella! I am so grateful for all the businesses and individuals that want to work with us!

The Shop is my vessel to get cheery, whimsical designs into the hands of strangers who have a love for color. I’m constantly inspired by my travels, as well as small, everyday objects that make you crack a smile.

Primarily run as a one-woman shop & studio, with occasional help from Meagan’s sister, Shannon! Everything has Meagan's personal touch from design, packaging + fulfillment! We are so lucky to partner with some amazing small businesses to keep the majority of our product production in-house or with local makers.

There’s nothing better than stopping by your local pantry + refillery to restock those kitchen shelves! You hit the jackpot if your local spot is The Callicoon Market. We we’re thrilled to help Dania refresh her funky and fun shop with branding that reflects her personality and dreams.

The Callicoon Pantry is a space for everyone and will continue to make the mundane task of grocery shopping fun and enjoyable! This space is a community hub, and we think we nailed the branding to feel appealing to everyone! We later transformed her website to feel just as fun as the IRL experience!

Ghost Town Coffee is a soon-to-be coffee spot on Long Island. Inspired by the coastal fog, collaboration of friends, and the never-ending hunt for the perfect coffee spot to post up and stay awhile. Chloe & Greg fell in love with the skull icon from our initial sketches and I built the brand around this! Playing off the neutral tones of the coast, the hazy & eerie vibes of the shoreline, and the feeling of effortlessly cool. I can’t wait to see this brand come to life with its soon-to-be open location!

Lady Brewsters is an annual collaboration of women brewers from some of the NOFO’s leading breweries, raising money for various Long Island charities. During women’s month, these badass brewers join together to create a

one-of-a-kind beer! I was honored to be picked as the artist to bring 2022’s vision to life.

We decided to play off a happier phrase “Give me a smile” even though the meaning of this beer goes much deeper. A tongue-in-cheek way of taking a sexist comment & turning it into something positive. This correlation between sexist comments, usually made in a bar setting, was the perfect connection to this year’s charity & sponsor. With the help of long island safer bars, this brew was released during sexual assault awareness month benefiting the retreat

(a safe haven for victims of abuse & domestic violence).

Owner of Hometown Flower Co, Jaclyn, originally came to us with a need to refresh her branding. Her floral studio was expanding and opening a new retail location, which made this a priority! Sticking to their roots of minimal & edgy, we expanded Hometown’s branding to feel more personable and beautifully unruly! We didn’t stop with branding, as we created a full line of merch, along with brand assets such as packaging, notecards & product labels! It really was the full picture and I loved every minute of working with Hometown Flower Co!

Kendra is an herbalist with her own shop and misson to educate people that herbs are not intimidating. As her business is expanding, she wanted to give her branding a facelift, as well as her packaging + marketing! Kendra is bright, bold and full of personality. We wanted her new branding to embody her own spirit and feel exciting & approachable to herbal newbies! I loved applying her new branding to her herbal tea pouches & marketing! Anyone else want to live in the little colorful world we created?

Campus Corner Gifts originally came to me looking for help with notecard designs for their college gift boxes! We came up with a few designs that parents, family and friends can send to students, as well as a card for the students to send back!

A bold & fun illustration for Blue Point’s event celebrating women in beer! Pulling from the brewery’s color scheme and hip vibe, the blue lady was born. This workshop was for all the rad women in the beer & bar industry.

We were thrilled to work with The Times Vintage, the coolest vintage shop on the planet, to create custom candles! These two stand-out custom scents transport it’s customers RIGHT back to the shop, anytime they wish they were on the north shore. Inspired by the groovy interior of the shop and her dad’s amazing record collection! TTV eventually came back to work on more candles for their 10th-anniversary celebration. Along with some merch, stickers + keychains! We love helping TTV expand their merch line, anytime we get!

Blue Velvet Skincare is your new best friend for facials! A modern yet relatable take to self-care, Julianne’s studio resides on Long Island’s north shore. We were thrilled (& instant clients) when Julianne asked us to help her refresh & expand her brand.

The pre-existing website that was Blue Velvet’s home needed a major update. It was not functioning as a source of information, was not digestible and totally did not embody the ~trendy~ feeling her studio exudes. We were so eager to give this a facelift & make her appointments bookable! It was a blast bringing the vibe to life with shots of her studio & products!

Speaking of products, we helped create a staple house blend of patchouli for BVS’ first candle “Glow”, which soon became a customer favorite. We later expanded to a second candle “Vibe Shift”, just in time for the summer months! These candles have been a great hit for Blue Velvet!

I was stoked when Fenomenal asked me to hop on this collaboration with Pop Up Grocer to support a woman-owned, AAPI-owned business. I provided illustration designs & some initial logo concepts to help bring this reimagined jerky packaging to life! Through the Fenomenal Fund X Pop Up Grocer Fund, we explored multiple directions together & let the consumers vote on their favorite design! “A brand built for the conscious adventurous millennial foodie seeking new snacks that match their lifestyle. Through nostalgia-inspired quirky and illustrative storytelling, we designed the Jack & Friends brand to encapsulate the theme of the exploration, inspired by the pioneering jackfruit”

Fenomenal came to me to help elevate this California donut shop with fun, whimsical illustrations! Our happy-go-lucky illustrations tie in perfectly with the sweet pink and the colorful donuts! What fun it was to help Cruel Donuts sprinkle some kindness!

What a fun candle + card collaboration with a local farm stand on the NOFO. We wanted these candles to feel like you were bringing a part of the farm home with you. Inspired by the farmstand chalkboards & local produce grown by our client, we were able to transport Andrews Family Farm's customers back to the farm stand every time they lit one of their candles. the summer candle quickly became a best seller and we further expanded into a fall & holiday candle. these will be staples of the farm year after year!

Healing Poem Farm is located in western New York, on once a hay field, tending to a bounty of produce for full flavor & nutrition. Inspired by her grandmother’s love of poetry, healing through mother earth and love of food; Healing Poem was born! This brand’s motto is “Healing the relationship between mother earth, each other & the self through ecological, human-scale agriculture” and I think we perfectly capsulated this! Thank you Bari for trusting us with your beautiful farm’s image. We loved every second of creating your branding and brand assets!

District Snacks is a dessert-inspired almond butter brand, LGBT founded, from D.C. The founder first came to Fenomenal to redesign his packaging, as it was holding him back from deals with retailers and attention as a brand and product in general. We wanted this branding to encapsulate the founder’s inspiring and playful energy. Thank you Fenomenal for trusting me to bring your drag & disco vision to life!

Sugared Beauty Bar is your go to place for all your self care needs! Rooted in love for embracing your skin, body and self, Serenity’s business flourishes out of Roslyn, NY! Serenity originally brought us on to help her create custom candles to pair with her best-selling soap line, which led to photographing her products and helping create branded packaging! We eventually even helped create some product designs for new lines she’s bringing into the shop!

As a previous customer of Poppy & Pout, it was a dream when they reached out asking to shoot some content for them! We loved capturing their icon lip balms and scrubs across CA!

Fenomenal asked us to help on another product, and we never say no to snacks! We helped Fenomenal extend Deseba’s product line with our hand drawn fruit illustrations! We later added on retro inspired stickers to bring a pop to their marketing!

I loved working on this brand refresh for Synchronicity Holistics! The owner, Susie, reached out to level up her skincare haven with a professional brand suite. She uses herbs in her skincare routines for clients, so she wanted her brand to feel connected to the earth. We focused on earthy neutrals that ground this brand in a calming way, along with some peaceful illustrations of her favorite herb to use: marshmallow root! Overall, it was a blast to work on this.

Meag worked with us on the branding and subsequent brand extension for our farm. As a whole, the process was incredibly generative, supportive, and organized. In the iterative process, Meag communicated clearly and frequently while making space for and truly hearing my ideas and suggestions. Her thoughtfulness, deep care, attention to detail, creativity, and skill yielded a suite of designs that pointedly and beautifully communicate so much about our farm through imagery, colors, and fonts than would be possible to express succinctly in words to our community, customers, and partners.
